Clinical Neuropsychologist

Dr. Lana M. Loomis

Dr. Lana M. Loomis offers in-person neuropsychological evaluations for the lifespan (ages 6+). She provides neuropsychological assessment services to patients with concerns related to neurodevelopmental disorders (e.g., ADHD, ASD, Learning Disorders), injury (e.g., traumatic, acquired), or neurological/neurodegenerative disease (e.g., menopausal changes, pre-operative, post anesthesia, dementia). Dr. Loomis works with patients and families to identify strengths and tailor a plan around growth opportunities.

Dr. Lana M. Loomis earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Neuropsychology from Fielding Graduate University. Her extensive training included externships in the department of Neurology with their outpatient Clinical Neuropsychology team and Cognitive Rehabilitation in the acute care unit of a Level 1 trauma center in a rural Minnesota hospital. In residency, Dr. Loomis completed rotations in an integrative, community-based medical clinic setting, adult inpatient psychiatric care, hospital based adult inpatient alcohol and substance use disorder treatment, and a telehealth-based outpatient clinic setting. Following completion of her neurodevelopmental Neuropsychology Fellowship at Thomson Memory and Attention, she extended her postdoctoral neuropsychological training at Integrative Health. She now maintains a practice within Integrative Health, in addition to private practice serving the needs of the expat community in the Cancun, Mexico region.

She has experience working with adults and older adult populations, having provided neuropsychological assessment in a hospital-based clinic, neurocognitive rehabilitation, and hospital setting. Working with children, adults, and older adults, she has provided neurocognitive rehabilitation and psychological support services for acquired brain injuries following accidents, cerebrovascular or hypoxic events, and spinal cord injuries. Additionally, Dr. Loomis has experience with psychological assessment and therapeutic services in an integrative behavioral healthcare model within primary care and hospital-based clinics, inpatient psychiatric care, and co-occurring treatment settings. Her clinical interests continue to include neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative disorders and research into genetic underpinnings of neurocognitive decline in international adoptees. Outside of the office, Dr. Loomis enjoys reading, hot yoga, running, and spending time with her family.
